Taylor’s Schools have launched impactful solar panel initiatives across three of their campuses, emphasising sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur and Puchong:
Both campuses have collectively installed over 1,600 solar panels. This initiative aims to foster a cleaner and more sustainable future while educating students about renewable energy and its benefits for the environment. TIS is committed to instilling a sense of responsibility in students, encouraging them to become proactive change-makers in society.
Garden International School (GIS):
GIS has installed 350 solar panels on the roof of its Art block. This initiative not only reduces carbon emissions but also engages students through hands-on activities related to solar energy. A real-time digital tracker monitors energy savings, providing insights into the effectiveness of the solar panels. Through the Green Dragons Student Leadership programme, students actively participate in activities that deepen their understanding of the importance and impact of solar energy.
These align with the Care:World movement, which encourages learners to take responsibility for their environment. By empowering students to leverage technology for social good, Taylor’s Schools are actively participating in efforts to combat climate change and promote a sustainable future.
